A very helpful and comprehensive site which gives lots of relevant and useful information and advice. Links to other sites as well.

THE CINNAMON TRUST
A really useful and helpful organisation which assists the elderly who have pets to care for. They can also have volunteer dog walkers to help exercise pets which cannot be taken out by their owners.

VISIONCALL OPTICIANS
Vision Call are the opticians that service the needs of our clients at St. Andrews. They offer a comprehensive in-house service with eye testing, diagnosis, the prescription and dispensing of lenses and sale of frames. They also offer a very good range of training for our staff in order that we have a better understanding of the visual challenges of our clients.

CROYDON HOUSE DENTAL IMPLANT CENTRE
The Croydon House Dental Implant Centre is the practice that services the needs of the majority of the clients at St. Andrews. They will visit clients in-house or will carry out examinations at their practice in Ashburton.

ASHBURTON HEALTH CENTRE
The Ashburton Health Centre is the practice where the majority of our clients are registered. Their work is supported within the home by the local team of District Nurses which operates out of Ashburton Hospital.

ASHBURTON COOKERY SCHOOL
Cookery excellence - this well known local cookery school draws its clients from across the country. It teaches the art of fine cuisine as well as traditional cooking. Our chef attends regularly 2 courses a year to add to her skills.

South Dartmoor Osteopaths have over 20 years of clinical and teaching experience and offer treatments from newborn to the elderly.

HILL HOUSE NURSERY AND TEA ROOM

ATTACH A TAG
We recommend that new residents buy into the system that we use at St. Andrews House for the labelling of clients' clothing. A quick and easy system which uses individually laser marked name tags which we will attach to clothing. It is a long lasting and effective method of ensuring that clothing is returned to the correct person.
